Zenox Industrial PSA Oxygen Generator

Industrial PSA oxygen generators and VPSA-class systems with multi-bed vacuum desorption (MBVD™) — tonnage oxygen generators for mining, aquaculture, glass, and metals. Not medical oxygen generation systems.

Zenox supplies on-site oxygen production plants for industrial process duty. Our industrial PSA oxygen generators use zeolite molecular sieve for oxygen plant adsorption and MBVD™ multi-bed vacuum regeneration — a VPSA oxygen generator approach (vacuum pressure swing adsorption) aimed at energy-efficient regeneration and stable industrial purity. Specify a tonnage oxygen generator or skid package for mining leach/oxidation, aquaculture oxygenation, glass, metal cutting/welding, and process oxidation. U.S. commercial scope is industrial only: we do not sell medical oxygen generation systems, hospital PSA plants, or FDA device pathways.

Zenox USA supplies industrial PSA and tonnage oxygen generators for process plants only and does not offer medical oxygen generation systems or FDA device pathways.

What compressor air quality is required for a PSA gas generator?

Oxygen PSA plants require the same rigorous feed-air quality as nitrogen PSA: dry, particulate-free, and free of oil vapor, because zeolite molecular sieve for oxygen plant beds is damaged by moisture and hydrocarbons and oxygen-enriched systems raise fire risk if oil remains. Use oil-free compression or a full filtration and carbon-tower train before the generator.

How often do molecular sieve beds need to be replaced in a PSA plant?

Zeolite beds in industrial oxygen PSA are long-life consumables under clean feed air; replacement is condition-based (purity decline, pressure drop, contamination events) rather than a universal yearly schedule. Good pretreatment and oil-free practice extend zeolite life and protect VPSA/PSA performance.

How does the air factor affect energy consumption in gas generation?

Higher air factor means more compressed air—and more kWh—per ton or Nm³ of oxygen product. VPSA-class vacuum regeneration and multi-bed equalization are used on industrial oxygen generators specifically to improve recovery and reduce air factor versus conventional two-bed PSA.
